Where to leave your feedback about the Upload Wizard

This page formerly was a place to share issues you encountered when using the Upload Wizard interface. Since the feedback has died down after the early phases of development, this page has been retired. It is not frequented by developers any longer. There are, however, other places where you can report issues and get help:

Phabricator is our issue tracker, see the list of known issues. Ideally, any bugs in Upload Wizard should be reported there (see mw:How to report a bug). Information on how to use your regular Commons/Wikipedia account on Phabricator is available at mw:Phabricator/Help#Creating your account.
If you'd rather not get involved on Phabricator, you can always go to the technical section of Commons' Village pump. You won't find any developers there, but there's a chance that someone can help with your problem or file a bug report for you.

Apart from that, Commons:Upload Wizard carries summary information and Commons:Upload Wizard FAQ tries to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about Upload Wizard.

Error when uploading[edit]

When I click on the big blue button to upload an image, I will choose the image, and I immediately get the following message: "There was an error in your submission You are already uploading the file "1955 Dodge La Femme Makeup Compact.jpeg". Nonetheless, the image IS uploaded. with no further steps. This happens every time. I am using a Mac with the newest OS and Safari browser. Exif seconds truncated[edit]

We can click to see all kinds of extended metadata, but for some reason we are not allowed to see what seconds were in the EXIF, only minutes! Jidanni (talk) 09:34, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In big letters above we are told to enter feedback.
