Ideas for workshops, photo walks, presentations, etc.[edit]

  • Gathering of Commons Photographers UG members in attendance, open to all interested participants, meet in an area to have a brief introduction about the UG, background and objectives, then go ahead with the photowalk

  • Maybe a short presentation or workshop (to be repeated 2 or more times) “How to take better photos with your smartphone” would be useful for many visitors. Not about the smartphone specs, but about the basics of composition, light, etc. Background: When I browse new uploads to Commons, I see many smartphone photo contributions which are interesting and useful, but could be better and more useful when the users would adhere to some basic principles, starting with holding their smartphone straight (not tilted). --Aristeas (talk) 14:20, 3 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
