About Me

Hi, welcome to my userpage,

My name's Dave and I live in Strood, Kent, UK,

I joined in March 2011 but started editing roughly around May 2015,

I've made +1,00,000 edits here (as of 24/06/17),

I do a variety of tasks here such as:

  • Uploading images from Flickr, Pixabay(RIP 2017-2018) and Geograph,
  • Going through the "Unidentified buses/vans/cars" categories and identifying the vehicles,
  • Renaming files & categories,
  • Reporting image copyright violations,

I'm also a Rollbacker (verify), File Mover (verify) and Patroller (verify),

  • Identified the van purely on the garden wall brickwork as well as the house brickwork/windows, (Isle of Dogs being a tiny area I knew it couldn't be hard to find :)): Ford Transit front and rear

I am active user of Indonesian, Malay, and Javanese Wikipedia. South East Asian has 681.491.526 citizen total, and 160 milion malay speaker. I think commons need more admin to accomodate user around the world, espesially from ESEAP and ASEAN. Because many user non-english speaker espesially Malay and Indonesian is not feel treated well (eg. "Me"), because of differences in languages and culture. Thanks.
